Now that Trump is our president, more of the laborers have to leave and preventing any of Mexicans from coming into the country.  Currently, there are less laborers for the farmers to hire so they are losing money.  This “will free up more jobs for American-born workers and push up their wages” (Mohan).  It’s so ironic how so many people look down on these jobs, but they are the most important.  The people who work these jobs don’t get paid as much as doctors do but their roles are vital to our society.  They provide for the food that is in our homes, restaurants, and grocery stores.  Without them, we wouldn’t be able to live and survive.  Food is the main reason why we are still living and existing in the world today. Farmers will now have to replace the laborers with machines, which cost more money.  Will we eventually run out of food?
